Our latest review is about a new niche ecommerce store, Buskerdoo.com. They offer various electronic media protection products and accessories such as labels, CD sleeves, photo mailers jewel case inserts and CD storage products. In my opinion, they've targeted a perfect niche market because people are beginning to realize that if you need to send electronic media in the mail, you want ot make sure they are protected with cd/dvd mailers. This store seems to be using a heavily modified osCommerce, version 2.2. They have the meta tags contribution installed, providing unique meta titles on each page, ensuring that each page of the cart will be indexed by the search engines. The designer has done a wonderful job of integrating their custom template. I did happen to notice however that they are not forcing the use of cookies, and instead are allowing browsers that have cookies disabled to keep their session alive through query string parameters, as witnessed in the oscid parameter. This could cause long term repercussions when search engine spiders are assigned session ids. Other than that we think this ecommerce store is off to a great start.
